The Scope
bigHead approached Rejuvenate IT at the end of 2023 after an internal structural change revealed that their existing IT provider was not meeting their IT support requirements. Our initial meetings highlighted that cybersecurity was a top priority for bigHead. A seamless transition between IT providers was also crucial, and bigHead felt they needed an IT provider they could trust to guide them through the process of updating their systems and then manage them once in place.
The Solution
Rejuvenate embarked on a thorough onboarding process for bigHead, meticulously addressing their IT needs and concerns. Initially, we conducted audits to identify vulnerabilities in their systems. We pinpointed critical areas requiring immediate attention and promptly implemented essential operating system updates to mitigate potential security risks.
Furthermore, our team orchestrated a seamless migration of bigHead’s servers to our state-of-the-art datacentre facilities. This transition not only enhanced data security but also optimised accessibility and reliability, ensuring uninterrupted operations for bigHead. With the servers housed in our secure environment, bigHead could rest assured knowing that their data was protected by advanced security measures and redundant backup systems.
In addition to server migration, we carried out the installation of new network infrastructure. This involved deploying a new router, switches, and access points to improve network coverage, speed, and reliability throughout their facilities. By optimising their network infrastructure, we facilitated smoother communication and collaboration among bigHead’s teams, enhancing overall productivity and efficiency.
Finally, we installed a new Fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) line, delivering a faster and more reliable broadband connection to the bigHead office. bigHead use their internet connection for the majority of their daily tasks, whether it be data-intensive tasks, video conferencing, or accessing cloud-based applications. We wanted to ensure that they could rely on a robust internet connection to fuel their business activities.
The Results
bigHead’s infrastructure has now been fortified against cyber threats, safeguarding their sensitive data and operations, allowing them peace of mind when it comes to cybersecurity. Optimising their network infrastructure has facilitated smoother communication and collaboration among bigHead’s teams, enhancing overall productivity and efficiency.
